Product of MPS
Not only am I a teacher at Doerfler Elementary, but I also am a product of the MPS system. I attended Mitchell, Walker, and Pulaski. Likewise, my children attended some awesome MPS schools: Tippecanoe, Whittier, Roosevelt, and Riverside. We believe in MPS! We just wish that our politicians would believe and support it, too!
Hayes Bilingual Lego League
Congratulations and many thank-yous to Ms. Claudia Heller de Messer on the Lego League Team qualifying for State competition! So many selfless hours have been spent by Claudia, as well as many wonderful GE volunteers, supporting our Hayes Bilingual students in fun and meaningful learning! Way to go.
My favorite MPS educator is Ms. Dahlman. She works at Milwaukee Sign Language as a DHH teacher and she was my daughter’s special education teacher twice - once in first grade then in third grade. I truly appreciate her and give her a big thanks!!

"Washington High School of IT students were welcomed back to school by the beautiful sounds of a harp in the hallways on Tuesday morning. Mrs. Mary Keppeler, of Elmbrook Church and a volunteer for James Place Milwaukee College & Career Center, played for students, staff and administrators in celebration of the new year at Washington."
Start at MPS. Stay at MPS. Succeed at MPS.
