"Washington High School of IT students were welcomed back to school by the beautiful sounds of a harp in the hallways on Tuesday morning. Mrs. Mary Keppeler, of Elmbrook Church and a volunteer for James Place Milwaukee College & Career Center, played for students, staff and administrators in celebration of the new year at Washington."

Mrs. Krueger- Whitman 1st graders appreciate you soooo much for making it through the whole year without a document camera OR a smartboard… YOU ROCK!
Betty Nilssen has been my role model and inspiration for 27 years! She ROCKS first grade!! If you want to see amazing things happening in a classroom, visit her at Hi Mount Elementary School!!!!!!!!
The Best Nurse Ever!
Thank you so much Nurse Wilson! It is appropriate that you are on this list during Nurse Appreciation Week and Teacher Appreciation week because you do both at Congress Year Round School. The kids know you as more than a lady with band-aids. You are a person who cares for them, who will stop in the hall and talk with them, give them a hug and yes, let them know that what they are doing could be better at that moment. You’ve taught them a wealth of information and knowing you, it will continue.
You are one in a million! Thank you. Ms. Jacob
The best teacher.
Thank you Ms. O’Laughlin for all you have done for my boys. You are patient, loving, caring. You care about your students whole heatedly. I couldn’t ask for a better teacher. We love you so much. You deserve an award.
Awesome Alcott Teachers
Remember you change the future and will always be embedded in a former student’s words, actions, performance, or voice!! You are the BEST :) Mrs. Kendl
Thank you Mrs. Raebble and Mrs. London
I want to say “Thank you” for all that you did as my second and third grade teachers at Lee Elementary and Hopkins Street Elementary Schools. I am a teacher now and hope that I am able to impact my students’ lives in as great a way as you impacted mine. Thank you for believing in me and giving me your best, even when I was naughty.
More then a teacher.
Mr. David Coyle is one of the best teachers I’ve had throughout my high school years. He knows how to make the classroom interested in what he teaches. I’m always engaged and he has people wanting to participate. I always look forward to coming to history class. He picked very good topics to learn about this year. He not only taught us history but he helped us with other problems and you could tell he really cared. Whether it was about complaining about work, boys, or family problems he was there to listen and give his advice. When time came to take the IB tests he offered so much of his time to stay after school and have study sessions with the IB test takers. Knowing that he has a newborn baby at home we really appreciate it. Overall I had a great year in his classroom. You were a awesome teacher. (:
Hi this is Michayla from room 5 thank for this wonderful school.
Mrs. Gonzales is a wonderful, caring teacher! She gives her all in everything she does! I am truly blessed to have met her this school year. She cares more like a parent, her nurturing spirit motivates and inspires me! Thank you for giving back Mrs. G!
Regional Director (School Support)
I would like to thank Ms. Noland for her prompt attentive response to all of my concerns. Thank you for being understanding and reaching out to me in a professional but kind way - sort of putting yourself in my shoes. People like you make me believe my children are not only safe in MPS but can and will achieve anything in life with the right attitude, respect and open communication. I kindly thank you!
