The Best Nurse Ever!
Thank you so much Nurse Wilson! It is appropriate that you are on this list during Nurse Appreciation Week and Teacher Appreciation week because you do both at Congress Year Round School. The kids know you as more than a lady with band-aids. You are a person who cares for them, who will stop in the hall and talk with them, give them a hug and yes, let them know that what they are doing could be better at that moment. You’ve taught them a wealth of information and knowing you, it will continue.
You are one in a million! Thank you. Ms. Jacob
The best teacher.
Thank you Ms. O’Laughlin for all you have done for my boys. You are patient, loving, caring. You care about your students whole heatedly. I couldn’t ask for a better teacher. We love you so much. You deserve an award.
I once had to ask Frau Mattke, “Why haven’t you ever become a principal?” She answered without hesitation, “Because I want to teach.”
And that is what this teacher does: TEACH. I am in awe every day of what she does with the children. She will not leave a soul behind. She believes it is her moral obligation to give EVERY student in her class the best education she can give. Hats off to you Frau Mattke! You’ve done this now for 26 years! And I know you will do it until the final day you teach! I am humbled!
Awesome Alcott Teachers
Remember you change the future and will always be embedded in a former student’s words, actions, performance, or voice!! You are the BEST :) Mrs. Kendl
A huge shout out to the School Engineers and Repair Division of MPS!!!!!! They are often forgotten when “thanks” are given to other MPS staff members. We need to have a week dedicated to them. This elite group of people are responsible for maintaining our buildings and grounds. Keep up the great work!
Nurse Block is very accommodating to our staff and students. She is patient when working with the students and follows up with administration when an emergency arises. She buys snacks, juice and cough drops for students out of her own pocket. She never complains or becomes agitated. In my 19 years of being in a school, I have never come across such a compassionate and capable nurse as Nurse Block.
Thank you Mrs. Raebble and Mrs. London
I want to say “Thank you” for all that you did as my second and third grade teachers at Lee Elementary and Hopkins Street Elementary Schools. I am a teacher now and hope that I am able to impact my students’ lives in as great a way as you impacted mine. Thank you for believing in me and giving me your best, even when I was naughty.
More then a teacher.
Mr. David Coyle is one of the best teachers I’ve had throughout my high school years. He knows how to make the classroom interested in what he teaches. I’m always engaged and he has people wanting to participate. I always look forward to coming to history class. He picked very good topics to learn about this year. He not only taught us history but he helped us with other problems and you could tell he really cared. Whether it was about complaining about work, boys, or family problems he was there to listen and give his advice. When time came to take the IB tests he offered so much of his time to stay after school and have study sessions with the IB test takers. Knowing that he has a newborn baby at home we really appreciate it. Overall I had a great year in his classroom. You were a awesome teacher. (:
Hi this is Michayla from room 5 thank for this wonderful school.
Danke Herr Klein!!!
Thank you Herr Klein for all you do! Not only do you put your heart and soul into educating and molding 30 young minds every day in both English and German, you still have time to guide many of us parents through your Facebook posts on the Friends and Supporters of MGIS Group and the Milwaukee German Immersion School Website. You left your homeland to come here and share your language, your wisdom and your skills as an educator with the many children who have been fortunate enough to have you as their teacher. For this and so much more I say “Thank You”.
Mrs. Gonzales is a wonderful, caring teacher! She gives her all in everything she does! I am truly blessed to have met her this school year. She cares more like a parent, her nurturing spirit motivates and inspires me! Thank you for giving back Mrs. G!
Regional Director (School Support)
I would like to thank Ms. Noland for her prompt attentive response to all of my concerns. Thank you for being understanding and reaching out to me in a professional but kind way - sort of putting yourself in my shoes. People like you make me believe my children are not only safe in MPS but can and will achieve anything in life with the right attitude, respect and open communication. I kindly thank you!
